Wearing glasses isn’t just about seeing better or avoiding getting blinded by the sun. This day of age, more than ever, it’s about style, and it doesn’t only have to do with hipsters.
Art director Federico Mauro decided to show just how cool, different and stylish glasses can be in a piece of work called Famous Eyeglasses.
What is it? A group of posters, featuring basic pairs of glasses that have become synonymous with the celebrities that used (or still do) wear them.
From the colorfulness of Elton John to the over-the-top serious-cool look Tom Cruise donned himself with in Top Gun, some of these shades are as famous as the roles or people they were involved with.
