A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, a handful of brave Angry Rebels fought against the evil Imperial Pigs, in this Angry Birds mashup.
What would Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and the other familiar faces of the original trilogy happened to be like if they existed in the same universe as the Angry Birds? Well, you’d get some seriously Angry Rebels.
The wonderful images were provided by our source, who also happens to have more than a few others on their profile. Pretty much every memorable character has been recreated in the vein of Angry Birds, and some of them and awesomely hilarious.
Take a look at the massive, oversized Chewbacca hanging out next to a sly-looking triangular Han Solo. Even Luke Skywalker has a pair of crazy eyes to make him appear even angrier.
Facing our fearless heroes, on the side of evil happen to be the dastardly Imperial Pigs. I suppose the evil Imperial Pigs probably stole some Rebel eggs and stashed them in all kinds of places, like the bellies of AT-ATs or on Jabba’s desert yacht.
There are tees and hoodies available if you find yourself falling to a certain Jedi mind trick and needing some post-holiday gear. Unfortunately this mashup isn’t actually an app or game, but I could see something like it being a cool addition to one of the world’s most addictive handheld time-wasters out there.
