Two Green Thumbs-Up for the Click and Go Smart Flowerpot

For those who find it extremely challenging to grow plants, this device is for you.

Click and Grow 1

The Click and Go Smart Flowerpot gives just about anyone a chance to grow their very own chili peppers, even indoors! No training needed, and you don’t even have to get your hands dirty.

The Click and Go set retails for $79 and comes with the Smart Flowerpot and the Grow Light. The initial set up is a breeze, too. First, you install four AA batteries in the designated compartment of the Smart Flowerpot. Water is poured into the reservoir, carefully avoiding the center holes where the plants are to germinate. Then all you have to do is set up the Grow Light and place the Click and Go in a place where it cannot be disturbed.

The batteries power the Smart Flowerpot sensors, which detect the amount of water that is seeped into the specially-designed soil and seeds, as well as the amount of light the plant is to receive. It’s truly a no-brainer. You won’t have to fear over-watering or under-watering your plant, or even forgetting to put it out in the sunshine. Within about four months, you will have grown your own chili peppers.

According to the reviews, once your first Click and Go plant dies out, you can buy another plant and soil cartridge for $20. You can choose to grow herbs like thyme, basil, and lemon balm, among others. The Smart Flowerpot and the light source are reusable. Four AA batteries will last you up to 12 months. Of course, don’t forget to refill the water reservoir from time to time.

Not much info has been provided whether or not the plant in the Smart Flowerpot can be transplanted on real soil so it can thrive for years. Of course, that will have to need extra TLC and a more hands-on approach. We will just have to wait and see.

Now I wonder if I can grow watermelons on this?
