Emperor 1510 LX Workstation Redefines Comfort and Productivity

The better the working conditions are, the more productive people become. This is a simple rule that MWE Lab exploited to the maximum when they created the Emperor 1510 LX Workstation.

Sitting on a common chair for hours each day can lead to numerous health problems, hemorrhoids and back problems being only two of them. Living a sedentary life seems to be the curse people carry in the 21st century. The Emperor 1510 LX Workstation will change the fate of the privileged few who can afford it. This concept combines what seems to be one of the most comfortable office chairs in the world with plenty of room for several monitors, peripherals and notebooks. If this doesn’t make productivity go through the roof, I don’t know what will.

I’m still not sure what the target of this company is. Gamers will soon have access to several technologies that make games a lot more immersive than the simple use of three or five displays. Businessmen might need that many displays to monitor the activity of their companies or even the stock market. Other people risk falling asleep in that comfortable chair, so the customers need to be selected with great care.

I would’ve said that the back of the workstation, will all those hydraulic adjustable bits, looks very much like the spine of an alien, but MWE Lab representatives seem to think otherwise: “With the signature Emperor scorpion shape and outline, a highly stable steel structure, tilting capabilities, integrated audio system, LED lighting and much more, the Emperor 1510 is the future of high-end home and office computer work environments.

The Emperor offers functionalities that enable the user to experience unprecedented comfort and quasi total immersion through strategically positioned monitors, audio system and accessories. The result is a complete computer office, ergonomically optimized, with a minimal footprint that improves overall performance and productivity.”

The Emperor 1510 LX Workstation is anything but cheap. It costs $21,500 plus shipping, but for that kind of money people get a touchscreen interface and support for up to 5 displays. A BOSE surround audio system is also included. All these, along with the fact that the Emperor workstations are hand built, should somehow justify the steep price.

Check out the following video for a demonstration of how the Emperor 1510 LX can be adjusted to meet the needs and preferences of each user.
