Gmail Quick Action Buttons

There's more to the new Gmail than the addition of Google Wallet transactions in the form of e-mail attachments. According to Google's blog, one of the things that you'd be able to do after these buttons roll out is "RSVP to your friend's party invitation or rate that restaurant you went to last night all right from the inbox. You'll be checking things off that to-do list in no time." Travelers will also be delighted to find out that "When you open a flight confirmation email in Gmail, all the important information about your flight will be displayed right at the top." Unlike the Google Maps features or the Google Wallet integration into Gmail, which will both take a few months till global launch, the quick action buttons are supposed to roll out in the next few weeks. Given how much time these buttons could save, I'm looking forward to using them. Google has turned out into one of the greatest innovators of this century and it keeps bringing new apps and features all the time. Some fear that someday there may be a Google monopoly, but I'm happy to see this company involved in as many different domains as possible. Looking forward to writing about Google I/O 2014!
