Incredible 8-Bit Roomba Covers With Mario Bros Themes

This is absolutely brilliant: turn your automated roomba servants into Mario Bros enemies! At least now you’ll have an excuse to step on them, right?

The Roomba vacuum cleaners now look cooler than ever thanks to this 8-bit makeover they got. Artist Kelice Penney created these beautiful covers for Roombas based on some of the enemies seen throughout Super Mario Bros (okay, granted, the Octorock is from The Legend of Zelda), and is now exposing her work at iam8bit.com.

These make a lot of sense, as we can absolutely picture the enemies depicted here moving as erratically as a Roomba. All in all, it’s oddly fitting, and ideal for geeky home owners who’d rather have a robot do the hard work instead of vacuuming themselves.

Check them in action in the video just below these lines.
