Captain’s Log: The Enterprise Cut a Pizza Today

I didn’t think there was much space in the way of creative pizza cutters, but this Star Trek Enteprise Pizza cutter iteration has proven me wrong once again. The Metal cutter is based on the NCC-1701 (lol wut?) version of the Enterprise ship. From what I understand, this is the ship you may have seen in the original Series.

As an added bonus, it also serves as an official Star Trek collectible. That’s nice, except that I fully intend to use the Enterprise bridge to cut pizza, not rot away in a box somewhere for an inordinate amount of time. The construction is about as solid as the “real” Enterprise too, with a laser etched stainless steel blade, and a zinc-alloy chromium plated body. There’s also plenty of puns to go around in the description too. According to the official site, the cutter endeavors to explore strange new pizzas. To seek out “new cheeses and boldly cut where no man has cut before!” Yes, I cringed when I read that, too, but there’s even more where that came from! Here’s a video showing this amazing pizza cutter in action, cutting pizzas left and right. It’s just that good…you know you want one. Ok maybe not, but I know I do. I could use a decent pizza cutter anyway.

The cutter is also exclusively designed and manufactured by ThinkGeek, who I have found to make solid stuff. Just don’t stick it in the dishwasher, this baby is too good for it. Hand wash only, bub.

Best part is that for trekkies, this Enterprise Pizza Cutter will run for only $24.99.

If you’re in the market for other Star Trek stuff, I recommend this four-set Star Trek Glass set from the original series. If you want something a little more environment-friendly, you can check out this Star Trek Enterprise constructed from ink cartridges.
