Ultramodern ZERO Helicopter is the Future of Transportation

The ZERO Helicopter is an ultramodern design concept that could revolutionize the way we think about personal transportation.

If you happen to live in a big city like I do, I’m sure you’ve noticed that the traffic situation isn’t getting any better these days. With more and more people on the roads, highways are getting congested to the point that I’ve honestly resorted to biking and walking places because it saves me time.

Well, if you’re like me, then I think you’ll be pleased about this awesome concept, designed to alleviate the woes of traffic congestion.

zero copter side

The ZERO Helicopter is a personal copter that, in theory, would be easy to handle and cost efficient.

According to our source, the copter was conceived by designer Hector del Amo, and is intended to be an “ultra-modern” take on personal transportation. As you can tell, this design is all about being sleek and simple with no frills.

In a way it looks like the “smart car” of helicopters, except with an even more pronounced lack of storage space. Try flying back from the grocery store in one of these and see if you can make it without losing all your oranges.

zero copter front

Problematically, the helicopter in this design doesn’t actually have any doors, which is a bit frightening even for people not really afraid of heights or flying. I’d certainly feel safer if I didn’t have to worry about a flock of seagulls crashing into me on my way to work.

If these copters do make it into production, it would be nice to see if they could actually make a difference in the way we get around. The Segway promised a revolution, but ended up getting banned and discarded and now exist mostly for publicity stunts.
