26 Bizarre Star Wars Costumes

For most Geeks, Star Wars characters are on top of the list of choices as their Halloween costumes. Many love becoming Darth Vader, dressing up as a Jedi Knight, and tons appreciate the Princess Leia slave costume. In this collection though, we take a look at 26 Bizarre Star Wars costumes that show that Star Wars geeks will go to any length to become their favorite character (and more).
While you are browsing all these costumes, you may want some additional Halloween fun, and if so, then check out the 200 Pumpkin Carvings which also include many Star Wars Pumpkin Art.

Darth Vader

It isn’t easy being Darth Vader, but the following Darth Vader costumes prove that not everyone believes so. There is the Jack Daniels and Apple Boxes Vader, the Wheelchair Tie Fighter version, the Air Blow Up one and even a child that simply looks a bit morbid to go out trick or treating. But then again, it is Halloween, so all bets are off.

AT-AT

There have been some great mentions of AT-AT in the past, such as the AT-AT Day Afternoon or the AT-AT Bed, but these costumes simply take the cake. Not only are they extremely creative, but to be able and walk around as an AT-AT Walker during Halloween is probably some major geeky ego boost.

Boba Fett

Being one of the most popular Star Wars characters, Boba Fett is a force to be reckoned with. The two following ones show a kid that looks awesome as a Boba Fett Lego figurine, and one that went out of his way to recreate the Fett armor all alone.

Han Solo

Instead of just dressing up like Han, these two decided to recreate the Han Solo Frozen in Carbonite image that will always be one of the darker moments in Geek history. Still, gotta hand it to them for really going all out.

Death Star

The Death Star may not seem like a first choice for a geek, but then again, it could be that having a Death Star Costume makes you stand out from the crowd.

The Tauntaun

This is definitely a difficult costume to replicate, for the Tauntaun costume includes making an actual Tauntaun, braces inside to stand on, and presents an entire childhood of memories in one glance.

a Wampa

Another beautiful recreation which brings together an entire Wampa Costume Suit. I wonder how hot it is in there.

Tie Fighter

This is not recreating a ship you can sit in and battle your way as in the movies, but a fan made a Tie Fighter mask to wear and act out the flying by running around a room full of people.

Emperor Palpatine

This emperor Palpatine costume is actually titled Popetine. Is someone trying to say something?

Darth Maul

We remember Darth Maul as the evil Sith from the Phantom Menace, but in both of these examples, he is both goofy and childish. The above is a picture taken by Photographer April A. Taylor, and the one below is by Karin_and_Bruce.

Jabba the Hut

I know…Jabba is a lot larger in the movies, but do you really expect someone to walk around in that?

R2D2 Costume

These two R2D2 Costume versions just seem uncomfortable to be in, don’t they? The first is actually a ride along R2D2 Replica a fan made, while the second seems as if it is a child of a major Geek.

Lego Stormtroopers

The Stormtrooper is one of the coolest looking suits, but attaching Lego bricks to them just to become a Lego Star Wars figure is kind of wrong.

C3PO

Similar to the Cardboard Darth Vader above, this C3PO is a tad weird and perhaps the lazy-man solution.

Yoda

This Yoda costume is just plain funny, for even the hands are tiny 🙂

Power Droid

It seems so small that I have no idea why anyone would wear a Power Droid costume for Halloween.
