8 Best Check-In Luggage
If your next big trip is coming up, you better have some good check-in luggage on you. The first thing that is going to face the wrath of the security officials is your luggage if there’s nothing wrong with you that is. So, to ensure that your check-in luggage withstands all the torture, it is extremely important to buy the best. Fortunately for you, we got a great new list of the best check-in luggage that you can get.
Kenneth Cole Reaction Reverb 29 Inch
The Reaction Reverb from Kenneth Cole is a 29-inch hard side ABS luggage that further allows an additional 1.5” for better-carrying capacity. It is pretty light at just 12.35 lbs which will allow it to adhere to airline restrictions. The main compartment features an expansion zipper and a lot of other additional spaces that help organize your stuff. The underlying compartment also houses an organizer and an elastic top shoe pocket. Overall, I think this is the best option under $90.
Amazonbasics Hardside Spinner Luggage 28 Inch
AmazonBasics boasts that their ABS is thicker than its competitors and the protective hard shell is scratch resistant. For now, I’ll take that claim with a pinch of salt, but it is one sturdy check in luggage. The interior is fully lined and there is an interior organizer that uses 150D polyester. Another fancy thing is the ability to expand the luggage to up to 15% of its capacity. Amazon also offers three years of warranty, but be sure to read the terms and conditions of the warranty and what it covers. Get it here.
COOLIFE Luggage Expandable (only 28 Inch)
The next one on the list is a sturdy looking luggage from COOLIFE that comes in a combination of plastic and ABS. They are very proud of their spinner wheels because they are absolutely quiet. The entire interior of the luggage has lining and also mesh pockets for organizing your stuff. The luggage also has all the mandatory requirements like a TSA lock, expandable capacity, and a 2-year warranty. Buy it here.
Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside 28 Inch
Samsonite is one of my favorite brands for luggage mainly because I have them and they’re still going strong after about 8 years. The Winfield 2 is my favorite looking luggage in this list because of its brushed metallic finish. It is also very useful because it hides minor scratches. Even though the luggage has a metallic finish to it, there is nothing metallic about it. It is extremely lightweight and smooth to move around. Like every other luggage, it has got a TSA lock and lining on the inside. With Samsonite, you also get a 10-year warranty. Buy it here.
Samsonite Centric 28 Inch
The Samsonite Centric looks like it has been taken straight out of the Transformers movie. It has a blocky design which I really like but might not go down well with everyone. Apart from that, it has got the exact same specifications as the Winfield 2. It has the TSA lock on the side, interior lining, and a 10-year warranty. Everything remains the same. If you’re looking for a luggage that looks different, go for this one.
Delsey Luggage Helium Aero and Titanium 29 Inch
Delsey’s Helium series of luggage is extremely well built and as far as I can see, the two differ only in looks. The specifications, including the body dimensions, are same on both of the luggage. Both of these are made from durable polycarbonate and also supports the additional expansion of up to 2 inches. The Helium Aero has a more rounded design and comes with well-rounded edges. The Helium Titanium, on the other hand, has more of a boxy design with sharper edges. Both the bags have double spinner wheels and TSA locks. Buy it here.
American Tourister Ilite Max Softside Spinner 29 Inch
This bag has to be the flashiest of the lot. I’ve personally never seen a neon purple check-in luggage in my life. This one breaks all the conventions regarding color, but not in a bad way. I would personally love to use this one and it is apt for millennials traveling around the world for leisure trips or meetups. This would also be apt for a startup scenario where everyone is into offbeat things, but not necessarily in a corporate setup. Get it here.
Samsonite Flexis Expandable Softside Checked Luggage with Spinner Wheels 30 Inch
The last one on the list is the biggest at 30 inches and it is not a hard case like most of the other ones. There is an innovative quick-change pocket up at the front which is pretty deep and can store outfits for a quick change, gadgets or anything that you need easy access to. Unlike any of the other luggage that I’ve seen, this one has got push-buttons on both sides of the handle which caters to both left and right-handed people. The luggage uses a parabolic frame design that helps to retain its shape. Above all, it comes with a 10-year warranty from Samsonite. Buy it here.
