Some people value their privacy above all things, and would rather facebook’s auto-tag function dissapeared completely. Well, here’s a little something to help throw it off.
This is the first case we’ve seen of clothes engineered to throw off algorithms of social media auto-tagging! Simone C. Niquille is the mastermind behind the Realface Glamoflage shirts, a collection of t-shirts featuring distorted images of celebrity faces such as Michael Jackson and Britney Spears. This is Simone’s version of fashion designed to deter automated recognition.
The shirts will be sold at Niquille’s Web site here for $65 USD a piece, and might be a particularly viable option if you wanna keep your identity under wraps. Although, wouldn’t be easier (and more fashionable, too!) to just delete your facebook?
