If you are heading out to a formal event and want to wear something that is beautiful yet interesting and reminiscent of your favorite Marvel heroes, why not a hero-inspired gown? Stan Lee would definitely not mind having you on his arm for the evening!
Now, don’t get me wrong, I would gladly get dressed up as Iron Man or Thor, but I am also a lady (quit laughing), and as a lady, I am expected to look proper and demure. (And if you really knew me, you would understand why all my friends are laughing at the thought of me being “proper” and “demure.”) Anyway…I think I have come up with a solution that will allow me to dress like my favorite Avengers while still being “girly.” Take a look at these fashionable Avenger dresses.
Kelsey Michele, the artist, had to have me in mind, as well as every other comic book fan girl, when she created these gowns inspired by some of the most awesome Marvel comic superheroes.
Personally, I am a huge fan of the Thor-style dress. It has a cape! Anyone that can combine fashion and a awesome cape is cool in my books.
Unfortunately, there are no designers on board to turn these sketches into a reality. But wouldn’t it be awesome if there was? Which ones do you like the most?
