One of the largest mobile service providers in Europe, Vodafone, might soon become another company under the umbrella of AT&T in a $60 billion USD operation.
In what might be known as one of the biggest and most significant mergers when it comes to mobiles, Vodafone and AT&T might soon become the same company. The CEO of AT&T, Randall Stevenson, is already in the process of dealing with EU regulators in order to make the deal happen, and looking for the required capital. This would make AT&T a huge provider that extended to other countries such as Spain, Germany, and the UK amongst others.
What does this mean for customers, though? Well, not much, really, except they’d be in the hands of an even bigger giant.
