It takes a real fan to wear around particularly geeky clothing. Even now every so often I’ll meet up with some of my family for brunch wearing my Akira shirt and get some snooty comments like “man, you’re such a nerd!” or “Really? You like wearing that shirt?” That’s right I do! This Bow “TIE” tuxedo is another perfect example of something that is completely awesome and will likely earn you some strange glances in your direction along the way as well. If you ask me, that’s half the fun, and undoubtedly there will be some fellow fans out there asking where you got it.
As the original post states: “Some brilliant and undoubtedly evil Sith mastermind created the Bow TIE Tuxedo Shirt, the perfect marriage between fancy dress wear and “Star Wars…” Well I don’t know about that, I’m not wearing this to my older brothers wedding or anthing, but the design is unquestionably clever. At a $21.99 price tag, it better be, unless the T-shirt is made from some incredibly durable material that will allow it to last for eons and not next week when I spill my coffee on it.
This would go along with next years “Geek Pride Day” which apparently has been held since 2006 on May 25, but I must have missed the memo somewhere. If you’re looking for some other suggestions because a bow tie t-shirt is too fancy for your not so elegant tastes, we’ve featured all sorts of Star Wars clothing here on Walyou in the past, such as this Boba Fett Fleece hat. Yes I know it’s probably too warm to wear in May unless you live in Iceland (and even then). Fine, how about this LED Star Wars Umbrella which lights up so you can see in those many dark rainy days in Seattle (I’ve never been, can anyone confirm it’s apparent constant raininess? Is raininess a word? Well it is now). You know that has to get serious geeky brownie points for a geek celebration day. Now that I’m sad that I missed it, although I’d probably be wearing the exact same thing I did anyway.
