While the game Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock had its origins way back in the mid-90s, when it was invented by fellow geeks Sam Kass and Karen Bryla, I, like most of the geek population, got to know about this upgraded version of Rock Paper Scissors by the popular TV Sitcom, The Big Bang Theory. On that episode, when Sheldon explained to Leonard, Howard and Raj about this game’s genius, little did I know that the game would get popular enough to have a T-shirt designed on it.
This amazing T-shirt brilliantly lists out the symbols for Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard and Spock in a circle and has arrows brilliantly illustrating which elements beat which, making this game rise beyond the original Rock Paper Scissors game.
For those who aren’t aware of the rules of this game, apart from the universal Rock Paper Scissors rules that apply; this game adds on a few more which go like this, Rock crushes Lizard, Lizard eats Paper and poisons Spock, Paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes Rock and bends Scissors, and Scissors decapitate Lizard. Confusing isn’t it? With such a complex set of rules, a T-shirt which explains the rules so effortlessly, can help solve any ongoing game disputes which may tend to arise.
This Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock T-shirt is available in blue for $15.99 to $17.99, depending on your size and is destined to make you an RPSLS master.
