Segway has been one of the best inventions we have ever seen and they not only are fun to use, but also quite environmentally friendly. However, if one wanted a green and eco friendly Segway, they should rather get the Steampunk version, also being touted as the Legway. Now, Steampunk and Segway usually don’t go together as both are from two different eras.
Nevertheless, the Steampunk movement is all about getting things that are modern to look the way they would have, during the Victorian or Industrial Revolution days. Thus, the Steampunk antique is a self balancing and human powered vehicle that would require only cheap and easily available materials to build. The Legway however needs a lot of courage to be used as a little loss of balance could result in a fall, which means, you might have to wait for a long time for your wounds to heal.
The steps to building a Steampunk include building the pedal shafts, wheels, pedals, handles, handle post, and then assembling it all finally. In my opinion, you could go ahead and impress your friends while trying to balance on a softer patch of grass, just in case you fall!
