A lot of the romance that happens in comic books is between a superhero, like Superman and Spider-Man, and an ordinary person, like Lois Lane and Mary Jane, respectively. Well, on Valentine’s day, that’s just too boring for us.
Not everyone that is together is actually a couple. It’s hard to say that Spider-Man & Black Cat are together, or even love each other. She’s more into the Spidey persona than Peter Parker.
