    It’s not Douglas Enterbart but Douglas Engelbart. And he did not invent the keyboard. He invented the computer mouse. The layout of the computer keyboard still owes its origin to the inventor of the first typewriter, Christopher Latham Sholes.

    I’ve always wondered if it is possible to make a keyboard that has the same spring action as the old IBM Selectric typewriters. Those were perfect for me. When I made the switch to computers in 1982, my accuracy and speed decreased. I was able to type 105 wpm with 98% accuracy. Do you think this is a possibility for future development?
