The media streaming giant Netflix continues its steady expansion, now ready to take on Australia and New Zealand in March next year.
Starting next March the streaming giant Netflix will be available on Australia and New Zealand. Netflix has made a name in many countries already by providing a cheaper than cable alternative that allows user to stream a huge and ever-growing selection of titles of all genres, both movies and TV shows.
Netflix charges a monthly fee, after which users can access content any number of times they desire, both 3rd party TV shows and movies, and in-house creations such as the acclaimed House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black. Since launching in 2007, Netflix has been made available in over 50 countries with more than 53 million active members. Netflix can be accessed on a variety of smart TVs, set-top boxes, computers, and even video game consoles.
While the price has not been mentioned yet, it is safe to expect a direct translation of the American price to Australian dollars, as it usually happens, so it is safe to expect a fee of $7.99 a month.
