Concept Solar Floating Moveable Resort

If you’ve wanted to take a vacation somewhere warm and sunny, but the guilt over the potential carbon footprint has been too much, then this concept solar-powered floating resort might be for you.

Designer Michele Puzzolante has come up with the “Solar Floating Resort.” It merges the features of a boat, a resort, and even a submarine into one cool design. It’s modular, so it could be assembled almost anywhere. You could soak up the sun on the top deck, or go below and observe dolphins and other marine life. The whole thing is powered by extensive solar panels on the roof. It’s designed for deployment around beach resorts.

If you needed a change of scenery, you could move your resort somewhere else by driving it like a regular boat. This is a seriously nice design, with no expense spared. This thing sleeps six, with two double and two single bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. If this thing does actually get built, it would be great for eco-tourism.
