Lo and behold, for Maximillian Brusser & Friends (MB&F) has done it yet again. Presenting the Horological Machine No. 4 Thunderbolt, which takes watch designing and working mechanism to unreached heights. This gizmo, which closely resembles the turbines of the classic fighter airplane, the A-10 Thunderbolt, puts all other watch designs to shame.
The HM-4 has a design which is quite unique in itself. The two dials that the watch sports are like gauges in the cockpit of a plane, with one displaying the time remaining on the engine’s energy reserve and the other showing the normal time. Each dial has a winding crown on the back of its respective turbine. What I like about this watch is that the dials are placed perpendicular to the machine, with assisting gears to help with the task. And I can tell this because you can actually see the insides of the brilliant watch that MB&F has to offer. The movements that take place are because of over 300 different moving parts, making this timeless timepiece a very delicate item; and just to compensate for its delicacy, the whole machine is covered with five sapphire crystals and grade-5 titanium, thus, overall increasing its durability.
Well, the watch may be fancy on designer aspect but, its not too fancy on the pricing aspect because it will cost you a whopping $1,58,000 for a timepiece. Although, this watch gives all other designer watches in our library a very though competition, it looses when it comes to pricing of the gadget.
