The Steampunk Cellphone Art comes without a dialing pad, display, 3G, or games for that matter. But this ‘retro-vation’ of the first full-fledged steampunk cellphone takes us back light years in technology.
It actually uses binary code punch cards to make calls – a new twist to ‘calling cards.’
What a neat idea, taking something as ubiquitous as the modern cellphone and turning into a contraption that dates back to the 19th century. Ingenious stuff by creator Arthur Schmitt.
The highlighted features of this mobile might include some visible screws, a spinning number counter, and a rugged looking brown package that is the earpiece.
