It has been a long wait to finally get a release of the iPhone MMS, and this Friday, September 25th, 2009, is finally the official date which AT&T is rolling the service out and providing the iPhone MMS update.
Many AT&T customers who have already updated their iPhones to the new iPhone OS 3.1 received a text message stating:
“Picture & video messaging (MMS) will be available for iPhone on 9/25. While we prepare your account for MMS capability, the current ‘view my message’ experience will be turned off but your ability to send and receive text messages will not be affected”.
Few AT&T customers have already received an invitation to try out the iPhone update MMS, so if you are one of those, we would love to hear first hand feedback. Since AT&T has been known to have an instable service with many customers complaining of dropped calls, lost calls, and lack of receptions, many are worried about the ability to hold up the service with the extra strain of iPhone MMS.
