Nokia is all set to launch five new handsets and life tools especially for Indonesia, which are tailor made for users that are living in small towns and rural areas.
The five new handsets that company is going to launch are Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2690 and Nokia 2220. Feature wise, Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1800 handsets come with dust-resistant keymat, FM radio, anti-scratch cover and prepaid tracker. For people living in small towns where electricity is quite a factor, these handsets will provide you with longer battery life with 22 days of standby time.
Talking about Nokia 2220 and the Nokia 2690 handsets, you can get email service via Ovi Mail. In terms of features, these handsets offer you Bluetooth, MMS, GPRS, FM radio and VGA camera. The phonebook of these handsets allows storage of more than 1,000 contacts.
The price of Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616 and Nokia 1800 are EUR 20, EUR 24 and EUR 26 respectively. The Nokia 2220 handset is priced at EUR 45 while the Nokia 2690 at EUR 54. All of these five handsets are expected to hit the market next year.
