How often can you give a new look to your building? Perhaps only when you get it painted, but the students at the Carlton College in Minnesota, think out of the box. They reinvented their college building by dressing it up like R2-D2. Also know as Artoo, it is one of the most adorable characters in the Star Wars.
Thanks to their creative efforts, the building actually looks as cute just like R2-D2. The fictional droid has been given ‘life’ several times, with R2-D2 Pepper Grinder, R2-D2 toy in an Iron Man Style and Heineken’s R2-D2 beer can.
Despite the fact that he can’t speak and can only communicate in obnoxious beeping sounds, today his reach goes beyond the Star Wars universe.
He shouldn’t be judged by his diminutive size. Not at all. As he was the only astromech droid who not just repaired the Queen Padmé Amidala’s starship but also survived the blockade.
Well some regard this as homage to the Star Wars and the George Lucas series. And some there’s think it was the boredom of the students that lead to the temporary renovation of this building. But I consider this act as revolutionary and the team deserves Kudos for this robotic attempt.
