Apple has teased us about a new iTunes development, saying to check back about an exciting new announcement. Well, it has been rumored earlier that the Beatles will finally be available on iTunes and Apple has just confirmed the rumors.
The Beatles are one of the most popular bands of all time (if not the most popular), and it has been a long and winding road on getting their catalog of albums to be available on iTunes. While we can only assume that copyrights, royalties and personal interaction were the cause of such a long delay, Beatles fans (and the rest of the world) can now enjoy many Full Length Beatles albums straight through iTunes.
The Beatles albums currently available in the iTunes Library are:
– Please Please Me
– With The Beatles
– A Hard Day’s Night
– Beatles For Sale
– Help!
– Rubber Soul
– Revolver
– Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
– Magical Mystery Tour
– The Beatles (White Album)
– Yellow Submarine
– Abbey Road
– Let It Be
– Past Masters, Vols. 1 & 2
– The Beatles 1962–1966 (The Red Album)
– The Beatles 1967–1970 (The Blue Album)
– The Beatles Box Set
So, are you excited about the Beatles finally making their way into the iTunes Library, sad or could care less?
