The front-facing camera on the iPhone 4 is a great feature, but sometimes you want to talk to more than one person at the same time. Fring has solved this problem by releasing a new version of their conferencing app that allows 4-way video chat.
Fring works with either the latest versions of the iPhone or iPod Touch with cameras. The video chat itself will still work with older models, but it’s hard to talk to someone while you’re seeing a picture of the ground.
A video released by Fring to promote the feature shows a band meeting up on the 4-way chat to play a song.
Fring isn’t limited to iOS devices, but works cross-platform, including on Android devices. Fring is available as a free download from the App Store. We already highlighted Fring as one of the best iPhone apps in the dark ages of 2009. For another iPhone app that seems to be taking the world by storm, check out our post on Instagram.
