An Emotional Sony PS3 Video

I am not sure if this was made by a disappointed Sony Playstation fan or a competitor, but I felt it was made with a lot of thought and emotion.

In my opinion, preserving a loyal customer is worth ten times more then finding a new one. These same customers who are attached to your brand will be also the ones who will not stop talking about it, and therefore will play the part of the salesperson without even knowing it.

*Note: I’m not affiliated with any of the mentioned brands.

Apple giving back $100 to early iPhone clients

Apple meeting its clients halfway?

To all those that purchased the iPhone at the original price from Apple or AT&T, you can receive $100 Apple retail or online store credit. If you are not currently entitled to another form of rebate, Apple hears you and would like to appease you.

Steve Jobs has heard the frustration of the iPhone customers and wrote a letter to its clients in regards to the price drop matter. He attests that they do indeed need to take care of the customers who trusted them, and live up to that trust.

You can read his original letter at the Apple website here.

Apple’s new iPod Touch

Many were speculating about the new Apple announcements and what changes will be implemented to the iPod. One major change is the new iPod Touch: the iPod is now with a touchscreen.

The iPod Touch has taken the simplicity of the now renamed iPod Classic and enhanced it with a wonderful touchscreen. In addition, it has added WiFi, allowing you to browse the Internet, the iTunes store including Starbucks music, and even YouTube wherever wireless Internet is available.

You can watch the official videos of the separate features here or the guided tour through here.

How to maximize your cell phone battery life

Battery almost empty

For the last couple of days my cell phone battery has been nearing its end. This prompted me to go look for some solutions how to maximize my battery life. The most common answer was to try and refrain from recharging the gadget when the battery isn’t totally empty. On wikiHow I found other tips, some more useful than others. The tips are split in 2 categories: Increasing time between charges and prolonging the life of the battery. What worked best for me was disabling some features like Bluetooth, vibration, backlight, and also shutting it off when there was no signal since searching for a signal uses a lot of battery energy. I will probably treat my next cell phone battery better now that I found some tips on how to prevent these problems, hope they’ll help you too.

How To Drive Someone with a Windows Operating System Insane!

If you enjoy friendly pranks, this is an easy one to play on your friends. The only thing that is needed for this trick is a Windows operating system on your desktop or laptop. The result would end up that based on the icon you pre-chose (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Word, etc.), the computer in question would shut down. For several times, your friend will become frustrated, while you have a laugh.

How to do this? Very easy. Select an an icon from the desktop (software or browsers should be selected, for they are commonly used and the “victim” will not notice the icon changed), right click on it and choose “Properties“. In the “Target” allotted area, replace what is written with: “shutdown[space]-s[space]-t[space]0” (brackets are to emphasize space required between characters, also note the dash before “s” and “t”). After the information is entered, press “Apply” then “OK“. The prank is now ready – the next time someone will click on the icon you set, the computer will shutdown.

You can see how it is done in the video below:
