With December 17th rapidly approaching, the much awaited Tron sequel, Tron: Legacy, is just around the corner. For most Tron fans this means assembling all of your Tron swag, gear and other memorabilia to get you hyped for the premiere. While we’re sure you have everything from these Tron Light Cycle USB drives to these awesome Tron video game controllers, we’re guessing you don’t have what we’re about to show you. A Florida based bike store has unveiled ten custom-built street legal Tron Light Cycles. That’s right, a Light Cycle you can drive to the premiere. Each Tron Light Cycle is composed of a steel frame, fiberglass bodywork and a V-Twin engine from a Suzuki TLR 1000. The breaking system comes in the form of a custom made friction drum. Each buyer will have a choice in how the bike’s gauges are displayed. Customers can choose between actual standard gauges or an iPad dock which will display the vital information and statistics on the iPad’s touchscreen. A futuristic option for this futuristic bike. These custom-built Light Cycles weigh around 474 pounds and over 100 inches long and 23 inches wide. When riding the Light Cycle, the driver is 28.5 inches off of the ground. As you can see from the picture, it’s not exactly an orthodox sitting position. One thing to keep in mind when viewing these Light Cycles is the fact that these aren’t necessarily replicas. As the Light Cycles that appear in the Tron movies are virtual, no one has ever created an actual real-world Light Cycle. The bikes were created simply by looking at images the company found on the internet. So, what will you pay for one of only ten Light Cycles ever created? The Florida based bike shop is currently selling the bikes for $55,000 each. But, as we said, the Tron: Legacy premiere is right around the corner. As of this writing, there are only four Light Cycles still available. If this $55,000 Light Cycle still have curbed your Tron excitement, there’s always these 19 Tron designs, toys and accessories, this super authentic Tron motorcycle suit or this vintage miniature Tron figurine.
