Xbox One Getting A Pricecut: The Console Of The People?

In an attempt to cash in the momentum brought by the mega-hit Titanfall, Microsoft have slashed the Xbox One price to almost cheaper than the PS4, all things considered.

It turns out that the price cut the Titanfall Xbox One bundle received accross the pond in the UK was not an isolated thing, and some American retailers are ready to follow suit putting the console and game at $449.99. If you factor in the price of the game itself ($60 USD), this is is basically ten dollars cheaper than the PS4, which you’d need to get a game for anyways. This price cut doesn’t come from Microsoft, who suggested the retail price remain the same, but from major retailers, namely Best Buy and Walmart,

Still, the console wars is still on and hotter than ever, and we’re still to see if Sony replies to this somehow. The month is already looking great with the multi-platform release of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and the PS4 exclusive Infamous: Second Son.
