A is for apple, B is for ball, C is for Cat and D is for Dog. Wasn’t that the way you learnt your ABC? [GAS] however chooses a variety of influential geek inventions, sci-fi film characters, geek merchandise and gadgets to put together what they’d like to call the Geek Alphabet.
The geek alphabet, right from A to Z brilliantly lists out all the creations which are close to every geek’s heart, in other words if any of this stuff hadn’t been created or discovered we geeks would be living in an entirely different universe today.
‘A’ now stands for Away Team, where you should never wear red and B is for Binary, 1s and 0s in your head. C is for Cosplay, it’s sad to imagine a world without people donning their favorite costumes.
D is for Doctor from Doctor Who, the longest running sci-fi television show in the world, E is for Emoticons which helped us geeks express our feelings so profoundly and F is of course for none other than flickr.
G is for Gadgets and I is for iEverthing, a tribute to Apple which changed our world with its inventions. J is for Japan, a world without Nintendo equals a geek’s worst nightmare and L is for Leia Skywalker, the girl of our dreams.
M is for MMORPGs and R is for Reading, e-book or a paperback. W is for World Wide Web, X is for Xerox and it ends with Z for Zork.
