If you had always wanted to turn your giant HD TV into a tablet, Archos makes it possible for your dreams to come true.
The company has just announced Archos TV Connect, which enables you to use your TV as a tablet and run Android on it. That means, you can run your favorite applications and use the TV as a tablet that runs on Android. The Archos TV Connect comes with a TV touch remote, a unit that connects your TV to the gadget and facility to incorporate a video camera.
The 1.5 GHz Smart Multi Core processor and the 1GB RAM should be enough to run most complex applications and games. Moreover, it also comes with an 8GB of memory, a microSD and you can expand it up to 32 GB. There are many options when it comes to connectivity. They include Micro-USB, USB host, mini HDMI, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, which means you are all set to go. The Android experience on a giant T must be really cool and all the fandroids out there will love to get their sticky fingers on this remote.
The TV Touch also offers gesture controls and mappable gaming controls. The device comes with a keypad that lets you key in whatever you want. I can already imagine people texting away using their giant TV screen and reading all the messy messages that get delivered to them via Whatsapp.
The device costs $129.99 and will be available from February 2013. Using it to make Skype calls can be an amazing experience especially if you are going to use a high quality video camera. If you are an Android fan, you might also want to wake a look at the Android Based Printer. The Lego Android Kit is cute and adorable and will make even non-Android fans desire for it.
