Maurizio Maiorana has unveiled an interesting design of a fold up portable stop top mat which can be used to heat and cook food. The gadget ‘Cooka’ uses silver as a conductor and you could use it to heat pots and pans. The Cooka has three round heating areas where the roll-up LSR Liquid, Silicon Rubber, and the Silver plates work together to allow the cooking and heating of food to take place in a clean and hygienic way.
The mat also keeps the table cool while it heats the food so that your table top is not damaged by the heat. This design can be very beneficial to those who are traveling and camping in the great outdoors. Also, the Cooka can be used in small studio apartments where space can be a constraint. I would say, this is a great concept and sooner it gets to the market, the better for us.
