Everyone has seen the movie Wall-E, and guy or girl – they have all shed a tear. And if you are like this guy, who loved the movie so much, you can make your own life size version of Wall-E!
Now, I have heard of people recreating the DeLorean from Back to the Future or Number 5 from Short Circuit (“Number 5 is alive!!!”), but no one has ever created anything that works. (And if someone did create a working DeLorean, I need to go back and stop myself from making some really bad life choices, while at the same time, not disturbing the balance of the past…or something like that.)
Well, now there is a real life-size WALL-E roaming the streets of California.
Possibly looking for the ultimate companion, or just a way to spend some time, Mike Senna spent between 3,200 and 3,800 hours over a period of two and a half years, building a fully functional, completely to scale WALL-E robot.
While it will not compact trash for you, it does roll around, talk, and move its eyeballs and arms.
And just like in the movie, this WALL-E will melt your heart. (And if you have yet to see this movie, I have no idea what you are waiting for!)
