Need a place to stay? Snap your fingers and watch as a hotel is literally built right in front of you. You just have to get over the fact you are sleeping in a shipping container!
Sometimes it can be really difficult to find a hotel with available vacancy, especially if there is a big event going on in that area. I remember times when my family would call hotel after hotel, trying to find an available room, wishing that a hotel would just randomly “pop up” and that we could be first in line to stay there.
Well, it looks like many years later, our prayers (and the prayers of many others) have been answered.
Don’t forget to make your reservations at Snoozebox – one of the very first portable hotels. Made out of shipping containers transformed into comfortable living units, Snoozebox is easily transportable and can be stacked and arrange to provide room for 40 guests or 400 guests.
Each shipping container holds between two and four rooms, with every room enjoying their own personal bathroom, television, and wireless internet access. And with the way the hotel is put together, one would hardly believe that it is made up of shipping containers! Especially once you see the inside of it!
Currently, Snoozebox is located in the United Kingdom, but the company will set up a hotel anywhere around the world. This is perfect for big events in various cities where more hotel space is required. All Snoozebox needs is an empty lot and they are good to go. In fact, right now Snoozebox is in Essex to help house some of the staff for the London 2012 Olympic games.
And if you think it takes weeks for Snoozebox to set up, you are completely wrong. Snoozebox can have the hotel up and running in 48 hours!
