300 Steam Hardware Beta Testers

Valve will select 300 lucky people to try out the prototype free of charge. The only thing the company expects in return is feedback, either positive or negative. To qualify for this, you need to join the Steam Universe community group, agree to the Steam Hardware Beta T&C, have at least 10 friends in your Steam account and play a game using a controller and the Big Picture interface. All these must be done before October 25. Mind you, at press time there were 237,895 eligible beta candidates, so the competition is more than tight.
