The Big Lebowski is one of those cult-classic films from the 90’s that get’s quoted by young 20-somethings more often than it’s actually seen. The plot of the movie is somewhat convoluted – it blends a whole bunch of different film genres and character archetpyes while the actual plot is fuelled by a Mcguffin. The actors are all popular icons of the decade including Julianne Moore, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and even features the lovely Miss Tara Reid (back when she was still attractive). As an hommage to the movie, paraLUchs uploaded a short reenactment on YouTube of some of the most hilarious scenes from the movie made completely out of Lego.
It’s incredibly cute to see some of the most memorable characters from the movie as Lego men and even greater that it’s climax is the scene where Jesus (played by John Turturro) scores a strike at the bowling alley and celebrates with a slightly homoerotic and creepy little jig. It’s unbelievable that paraLUCHS was able to find all the right little lego people pieces that resemble the costumes from the movie. In case you haven’t seen the movie, I recommend that you watch it before seeing this video and Before you know it, you’ll be quoting the movie too. My only problem with the clip is that it doesn’t include my favorite scene involving a pad of paper and a doodle but really – that’s, well, you know, that’s just, like, my opinion, man.
