Let the winds guide you to see this awesome The Wind Waker’ Link action figure from Good Smile Company.
There’s something about the look of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker that makes me smile. Smile, because of how darn pretty it looks – I mean, have you seen the Wii U version? It’s a credit to the game’s cell-shaded art style that has kept it looking so marvelous after all these years.
Now you can take a piece of that game and place it by your side to remind you of its smile-evoking positivity with this Nendoroid action figure of Link. Funny enough, it’s from a company with the word “smile” in its name, Good Smile Company, a well-known distributor of figures with a superb amount of detail. I would say they’re one of the best.
This little guy comes with multiple poses and face expressions that can be changed on a whim. Wind Waker Link also comes with his familiar Hero’s Sword, Hero’s Shield, Heart Container, and the Wind Waker itself. Good Smile Company even included a neat, blue-wave thingy to represent Link’s spinning sword attack. That’s probably the best pose.
Right now, The Wind Waker Link figure can be pre-ordered at Good Smile’s online shop. It costs ¥4,000, about $39 USD, and will be released sometime this August. It would be awesome to have one of these on a work desk, brightening up a rough day.
