As Black Friday, one of America’s biggest shopping holiday rolls around, iPhone maker Apple, have detailed their Black Friday sale in a new advertisement.
In the past few weeks we’ve just about seen it all in terms of Apple news. For a start, we had just about every rumour possible regarding the iPad Air and the iPad Mini with Retina Display and in the weeks before that, the headlines were all about their iPhone 5S and 5C smartphones. Since then, the media has cooled somewhat, turning our attention to the often high prices of Apple’s iPad tablet and their aforementioned line of phones as the gadgets are big on everyone’s list this holiday season. But, with a few days to go until Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping events of the year, Apple themselves have released a new ad mentioning price drops.
Listed on the Australian version of Apple’s website, the sales are only going to ramp up interest for their line of touch-enabled gadgets even more, especially as the Cupertino, Calif. company rarely offers sales on its products. The discount that’s likely to garner the most sales, is that Apple are selling iPads at a decrease in price, which could rival last year’s $41 discount, also meaning that the updated visuals on the iPad Mini with Retina Display and the incredible lightness of the iPad Air, will be available at much cheaper prices than usual.
It’s not just iPad sales that are right around the corner either as the ad seems to suggest that accessories for the device – specifically Apple’s EarPod headphones as well as SmartCases – may also see money off of the RRP on Black Friday. To purchase items in the sale, the ad states that you can either buy from the online Apple store for free shipping or head into a brick and mortar Apple store in person.
We’ll keep you posted once we know more.
