For those iPhone owners who would like to update to iPhone OS 3.1 but have a jailbreak iPhone, the iPhone dev team has released the new Pwnage 3.1 Tool for doing so.
Note: This is only for iPhone 3G and the first generation iPhone and iPod Touch and is NOT available yet for the newest iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 2G and 3G.
As to avoid problems, bricking and other dilemmas that could appear, please make sure to completely follow the thorough directions provided through the iPhone Dev Team.
