Bose has come up with two innovative products Bose IE2 Headphones and MIE2 Headset!
I know that when you think of sound systems, the first name that probably comes to your mind is Bose! Bose has been a pioneer in the field of, what is called, ‘active noise cancellation’ technology. On 12 October 2006, Bose announced its out-of-the-box Bose In-Ear Headphones, which they call, Bose IE Headphones. This product was named IE v1, and led to subsequent developments in the form of IE v2 and IE v3.
It was on 16 August 2010, that Bose launched the new and improved Bose In-Ear 2, the IE2 Headphones. The Bose IE2 Headphones are specifically engineered for listening to music over laptops, portable CD players, and MP3 players. You also get a protective leather case, to store not only the headphones, but also the portable music player. The set comes with a power adapter.
On 16 July 2009, Bose launched its mobile version of the In-Ear Headphones, which they called Bose MIE Headset. They announced the Bose MIE2 Headset on August 16 2010, which is meant for cell phones.
The Bose MIE2 Headset has set a new and developed standard for audio output, something which cannot be matched by any ordinary mobile phone headset. You can now hear your phone calls clearer in stereo, in place of the usual single ear piece. Suppose you are listening to your favorite music with the Bose MIE2 Headset, all you have to do is pause your music by pushing the ‘answer button’, and take the call.
Its omni-directional microphone will pick up your voice with great precision, and unlike other headsets, you do not have to keep it close to your lips while speaking over the phone. You click the ‘answer button’ to end your call and your music will continue from where you paused it before taking the call. The ‘Stay Hear’ silicon tips give brilliant in-ear stability by fitting in your ear bowl. These tips come in three sizes as well, to suit your comfort.
The Bose IE2 Headphone is a nice replacement of the Bose IE Headphone. These highly improved set of headphones comes for USD 99.95, whereas the Bose MIE2 Headset are priced at USD 129.95 only!
