World’s Fastest Chopsticks are Trains

There is a wide range of chopsticks on the market, but these ones have to be the fastest!  These chopsticks are designed to look like Japan’s world-famous bullet trains, and have been officially endorsed by the Japan Rail Line.

Take your pick from the different model series, including: the classic O series and N700 trains.  For those that are true fans of all things train-related or Japan-related, you can even select the Kikura or the stylish blue and yellow 922 train.  Made of plastic, and measuring just over eight inches in length, these trains were even manufactured in Japan.  Talk about the real deal!  And for $31 (plus shipping and all that), the Japan Trend Shop will send you your very own set of Hashi Tetsu Shinkansen Chopsticks.

I’ve always thought of Sushi as one of the best fast food options out there – when you can find it.  These chopsticks ensure that you can chow down on the move without having to slow down.  The real trains travel at over 210 km/h, and are some of the busiest and fastest bullet trains in the world.

Alternatively, if you really want to impress your friends with trivia (when they become embarrassingly jealous of your new chopsticks), you can tell them that test runs have exceeded 440 km/h. Not to mention the fact that these trains hold the world record at over 580 km/h.

But I digress.  Back to the chopsticks themselves – the different styles appear to be incredibly detailed and accurate.  These sticks are suitable for eating, displaying, or snatching flies from the air a la Karate Kid.

If you’re interested in unique chopsticks, you may want to take a look at the Chimp Chopsticks we reviewed a while back, or the Lightsaber Chopsticks. Whatever your preference, it is absolutely essential that you find the perfect chopsticks for you.  I mean, really, what would Mr Miyagi say if he caught you using those cheap wood sticks that you get with your take-out order?  Well, I don’t know exactly what he’d say, but you’d be in big trouble.
