Japanese Underwater Digital Camera

If you’re planning on going scuba-diving, and want to save some memories of what you see underneath, then you might want to carry an underwater camera. The problem is, many underwater cameras are expensive and hard to maintain. However, Japan Trend Shop has come up with something that may make it affordable and easy to own an underwater camera.

The camera comes in black or silver, and comes with the waterproof case. You can use it to record AVI MotionJPEG video or take JPEG pictures. It comes with a USB Lithium battery, and it has 2.5 hours of battery life on pictures, and 30 minutes on recording. It takes about 2 hours to charge the battery, weighs only about 25g, and uses SD based memory, up to 16GB. Resolution-wise, it’s not bad, again, for its size. Its photographic ability is pretty decent, with 1280x960px resolution, and video is 680x480px. It can go underwater about 22 yards before it gets to be too much pressure for the camera, which means that you can take pictures at a decent depth, but not all the way down. The camera is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and can record mono sound, and the software is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
