Ever wonder what it would be like if fictional characters existed in real life? How would they make ends meet, what would they do with their time? Find out.
The fictional worlds of fairy tales, comic books and children’s stories aren’t the same as the real life world we live in. In places like these, princesses never have to work, the good guys always win and giant anthropomorphic bears can live in the woods and survive off honey pots. However, once you take these characters out of their world, and out of their comfort zone, it seems reasonable that they might have a bit of a hard time adjusting to the quirks of our world.
In this series, produced by photographer Benjamin Béchet, we get to see what it would be like if fictional characters existed in real life. Unfortunately for them, it looks like more than a few of them are a bit down on their luck.
These awesome images, some of them both funny and sad at the same time, were dug up by our lead Thaeger. Continue on to see what life would be like for heroes like Batman, Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk, as well as Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
I personally really the down-on-his-luck Incredible Hulk, hanging out by the train tracks with a suitcase and a guitar, looking like a stereotypically bummed-out musician waiting to make his big break. Mickey Mouse sleeping on a park bench at night is also pretty fantastic.
