MC Escher’s pieces are incredibly odd and quirky. We finally get to experience it in complete 3d, and navigate it with our own eyes now, courtesy of LEGO.
We’ve seen our fair share of MC Escher’s remakes, particularly “Relativity” done with Lego, but this is the first one we see one that actually tries to imitate the original colors and overall aesthetics, which is just surprising. This piece was created by Riccardo Zengelmi using about 9,000 blocks over the course of 15 days. Are you impressed now? Because we are.
