The cool thing about 8-bit graphics is that they only require 3 colors, and can be easily recreated with cool forms of art. One of those might as well be with Rubik’s cubes.
The cool thing about this collection of Nintendo characters (plus Pac-Man) made out of Rubik’s Cubes is that you only need to work one face for the picture to make sense. That we can do! Sort of. Okay, not really. But hey, we’re discussing other people’s art, not our lack of skills, dammit.
In these pictures we can see Mario, Link, a Boo, a Goomba, a mushroom power-up and Pac-man, who we could consider sort of a guest, as he’s not an original Nintendo character, but Namco’s mascot.
