If you remember the recent hack that turns your iPad 3G into an iPhone, then you would be happy to know it is now available through Cydia.
The creators iPhone Slam have just recently released the app within the Cydia Jailbreaking community at a price of $20. This Will currently only work for Jailbroken iPad 1 with iOS version 4.3.3, but additional versions are being planned.
The new PhoneIt-iPad Hack will allow iPad 1 owners with compatible iOS and jailbreak make actual phone calls with their Tablet as well as send SMS. As of now, MMS are not yet supported and FaceTime will work depending on actual device/carriers.
