The only thing that would make Pokémon cooler is to see them as giant robots, ready to stomp evil. Wait, what? This is already happening?!
No matter what Nintendo does, and we’re really sorry Froakie, Chespin and Fennekin because you’re awesome, but there’s just something about the three original starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle) and their evolutions. Such an impression have they made on some people (such as Flickr user Stormbringer) that they even inspire mecha-style art in their later evolutions. Forget about Mega Evolutions! Meet Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise in their definitive form, LEGO mechas!
