If you have an affinity for pretty colors and blinding lights, then you are going to love color changing headlights. Not only will they light your path in any color you want, but their strobe capabilities also permit you to have a one car rave on the freeway. Totally sounds safe.
It’s not often that I think “I MUST own this,” but I’m not kidding. I must own this. I am not ashamed to admit that I have always wanted to “pimp” my ride. And by “pimp” I mean make it as glow-tastic as possible. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, Carebears and Lite Brites. What do these things have in common? Rainbows. Which is exactly why I need this:
While these are only made for a few specific models, none of which I own, and cost at least $400, I’m going to have to go the cheaper route. But that’s okay, as AAC Style has custom lights for the car that you own. Or your mother’s car, whatever. I don’t judge. The headlight kits start around $150, depending on the level of awesome that you are trying to achieve. This one happens to be the
Caddilac Escalade with the EXT Oracle ColorShift 2.0. However, if you really want to get your road rage point across, you should go with this modification:
While I may have visions of flashing my rainbow powers at the jerks that drive 10 mph under the limit in the fast lane, I’ll have to stick to gesticulating wildly as, in California, drivers are only permitted to have white or yellow headlights. In fact, in most states it is illegal to have white, blue or red flashing lights, and red is only permitted in the back of a vehicle. However, some states will allow drives to have accent lights so long as your headlamps and brake lights follow your state’s regulations. So until that law is changed, watch out slow drivers. I’m going to Carebear stare the crap out of you.
