Upsettingly Realistic Yoda Sculpture

Yoda’s face, although so different from any face we’ve seen, is one of the most recognizable ones in geek culture. An artist decided to show us what it would look like if we just walked upon him on any regular busy street. Meet Yoda, not the Jedi master, but the regular old dude.

This is the work of the Italian artist and sculptor Andrea Eusebi: an extremely detailed and “realistic” (those ears sort of break the illusion, but it wouldn’t be Yoda without them) sculpture of the Jedi master Yoda. The sculpture was built using plastiline modeling clay, with impressive results.

If you want to see some pictures of the process that led to this creation, check out Andrea’s art blog or Facebook. Trust us, it’s worth it.
